A kitchenette with full refrigerator, microwave and Keurig is attached to the sewing room, so you can keep your snacks and drinks close by. Other meals can be prepared in the kitchen or you can take a break and visit one of the 50+ amazing restaurants nearby, many within a 2 block walk. Your stay includes a continental breakfast each morning.

Patti also owns and operates KC Maker Studio & Fabrics in Mission, KS. As a quilter, Patti saw the need for more quilting retreat space in the area, so they renovated the lower level to add the Sewing Studio in December of 2018 and the retreat center was born. They have hosted over 3500 guests from 16 countries since opening their doors. They decided to begin operating as a B&B and opened to guests in February 2016. The onsite homeowners, Patti and her husband, Dana, purchased the home in August of 2015 and soon realized they had a lot of space that was going unused. Our B&B was built in 1910 and while it retains its old-world charm, it has been updated with all of today’s modern conveniences. Depending on your group’s size and needs, the room can be reconfigured to give you the space you need. In addition, there are 6 design walls, 3 ironing stations and 2 cutting stations.

Our 800 sq ft workroom has 8 workstations with 20” x 48” K-leg sewing tables for excellent stability plus additional 2’x4’ tables for spreading out your materials. To serve as a team couple, you and your spouse must be a couple in good standing with the Catholic Church. Serving as a team couple involves writing talks on topics using your personal marital experience. If you have a strong call to serve our community, you and your spouse may be interested in serving as a team couple. This ministry can be fulfilled from the comfort of your own home! The couple will receive a personal note card with the name(s) of those praying for them. We often reach out to ask for prayers for the engaged couples that attend our weekend. Our community is always looking for charitable people to donate their time to our ministry.
